It was a weekend when fans of “The Sopranos” got lost in the past — and in the Pine Barrens.
A maze inspired by that iconic episode is just one of the many amazing creations that were on display at Sopranos Con — a full-blown 20-year anniversary celebration of the HBO gangster series that forever changed television.
Held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey, it was attended by over 50 cast members.
Actors Dominic Chianese, Tony Sirico, Vincent Pastore, Andrea Donna de Matteo, Dan Grimaldi, Burt Young and Goldee, the horse that played Pie-O-My, were in attendance.
Besides the “Pine Barrens” maze, attractions included a recreation of the gang’s Bada Bing strip club hangout and a facsimile of Dr. Jennifer Melfi’s office. Raffles, art exhibits and collectibles were part of the retro experience too.
