New York Giants Stun Seattle Seahawks, 17-12

With Colt McCoy at quarterback in place of an injured Daniel Jones, the NFC East-leading Giants toppled the mighty Seahawks in Seattle, 17-12, to build their first four-game win streak since 2016 and claim first place outright in the NFC East.

Just as important as the win was how the Giants (5-7) did it: they bullied one of the NFL’s best teams out of their own building on both sides of the ball.

“Tough, hard-nosed, physical, disciplined football,” safety Jabrill Peppers said. “It felt good.”

“I thought our guys came prepared to play today mentally, physically and emotionally,” the first-year coach Judge said.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll trying to explain what happened to his Seahawks (8-4) in their first loss in three games:

“They played us really tough and gave us a hard time all day long. We were having trouble moving the ball. It’s just an uncharacteristic type of feeling not putting any points on the board.”
