Diddy hosted an “epic” 50th birthday bash at his Beverly Hills mansion. The A-list guest list included Jay Z, Beyonce, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dr. Dre, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — plus Kardashian’s ex Ray J — and others. Mary J. Blige was a surprise performer.
Guests were invited via audio message from supermodel Naomi Campbell. “On the audio, she said, ‘You’re invited to Diddy 50… only come with dancing shoes and good vibes.”
The hip hop mogul turned 50 on Nov. 4, but an insider told us he rescheduled his party three times because he wanted to also commemorate the late Kim Porter’s birthday. She died last year and would have turned 49 on Sunday. Diddy also threw an early birthday celebration for their twin daughters, Jesse and D’Lila, the night before.
A guest said of the 50th birthday bash, “It was an emotional evening. Marvin Sapp sang Puffy’s favorite spiritual song, ‘Never Would Have Made It.’ Puffy got real emotional.” The party started at around 9 p.m. and guests enjoyed cocktails by the pool. We’re told Snoop Dogg was one of the first to arrive at the starry bash where the crowd also ultimately included Kevin Hart, Wiz Khalifa, Tyler Perry, Queen Latifah, Tracey Ellis Ross, Taraji P. Henson, Jermaine Dupri, Usher, Tyra Banks, Swizz Beatz, Nelly, Doug E. Fresh, The Weeknd and Post Malone.
