Cowboys Reportedly Offered Dak Prescott $33 Million a Year, and He Turned it Down

The Cowboys’ signal-caller Dak Prescott reportedly turned down an offer this past weekend that had an average value of $33 million per year, but it hasn’t deterred the franchise from trying once again.

ESPN writer Todd Archer reported that the team sent out a new proposal that will be more than the previous $33 million per year offer and likely somewhere within the range of $33.5 million – which is the number Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff currently are making on their respective contracts.

In 2019, Prescott racked up 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while adding 277 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground.

Despite his number, he could only lead the team to a 8-8 finish after the team started the year 3-0.
